We are pleased to welcome PETE MANCINI back to Live in the Lobby to celebrate the release of his first solo album, "Foothill Freeway." Pete is a founding member of Butchers Blind, which Newsday said" fuses alternative rock with country music, creating a contemporary sound embedded in Americana roots.” They have released two albums and have opened for acts such as Gin Blossoms, Blues Traveler, and Pure Prairie League. In addition to his work with Butchers Blind, Pete is also an accomplished studio musician and producer. His songs have received radio airplay around the world and continue to win over hearts and minds wherever they are heard.
This show will not only be a celebration of this talented musician’s new album, but also of several other Long Island singer- songwriters that will be a part of the show. Bryan Gallo, Chris J. Connolly and Travis McKeveny will each play a short set to open the show, and they will join Cassandra House and Pete and during his set to play his songs, their songs and any number of surprises.
“[Mancini] sets his plainspoken, politically aware lyrics to a guitar-driven backdrop that evokes the early 90s alt-country of bands like Wilco; part classic country, part amorphous indie rock.” – New York Music Daily
General admission is $10. Tickets are available at the Patchogue Theatre Box Office the day of the show or can be reserved by calling 631-207-1313.
Doors open at 7:00. Seating is limited, so arrive early!
